Module 1 introduces the foundations of sets and inequalities. Students will learn set notation, set relationships and operations, interval notation, and the basic properties of inequalities. The module then develops methods for solving linear, quadratic, and rational inequalities, followed by mixed practice and a topic test to strengthen accuracy, speed, and exam readiness.
Module 03 introduces the essential concepts of geometry and algebra required for the CSCA Mathematics examination. Students will study plane analytic geometry, including the equations and properties of straight lines, circles, ellipses, hyperbolas, and parabolas. The module also covers vector operations, basic operations with complex numbers, and solid geometry involving three-dimensional rectangular coordinates and simple solids. Through worked examples, practice exercises, and assessments, students will develop the mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills needed for CSCA-style questions.
Module 04 introduces the essential concepts of probability and statistics required for the CSCA Mathematics examination. Students will study the classical probability model, including random events, sample spaces, equally likely outcomes, and fundamental probability calculations. The module also covers numerical characteristics of data, such as mean, variance, and standard deviation, followed by an introduction to normal distribution and its basic properties. Through worked examples, guided practice, and assessments, students will develop the statistical reasoning and probability calculation skills needed to solve CSCA-style mathematics questions.
